What's Jim Doing Now?

Jim is still in Baton Rouge, actively involved in a number of projects. He writes a widely read weekly internet column that appears each Thursday at www.politicsla.com as well as a number of newspapers throughout Louisiana. You can read his current column as well as all back columns on this website.

He has finished his first book on all that happened to him, and it arrived in bookstores nationwide in November of 2004. A second book about life in a federal prison is in the works.

Jim has also teamed up with an international consulting firm called Risk Consultants, L.L that offers consultation on a variety of financially related issues.

He is also speaking to business groups both in Louisiana and throughout the country about problems and the dangers of dealing with state regulators and federal agencies. You can e-mail Jim if you are interested in his speaking to your organization.

He’s on the golf course regularly with his son. And he continues to be a fitness buff, working out five to six times a week.

Jim also does some “low profile” political consulting for a number of friends he has worked with over the years.
