SEN. MARY LANDRIEU FAKES COMMITTEE HEARING FOR NEW CAMPAIGN AD

Hey, you are running for election in the U.S. Senate and you are putting up on TV new campaign ads.  So you say: “Let’s fake a Senate hearing!   No one will ever notice.”Â  That’s apparently the thought process of the Louisiana Senator Mary Landrieu campaign.  Well, her “fake” senate hearing has created quite a stir.   In a new ad released this week, Landrieu dramatically denounces the federal government, scolding them for not taking the needs of her constituents seriously on oil and gas revenues.  No problem here.  But the ad inferred that she was denouncing in the Senate committee hearing chamber as the new chairman of the Senate Energy Committee.  But the ad was fake. The campaign also uses different people in the ad than the actual staffers during the hearing.  She is being roasted in the national press for faking her campaign ad.
