One of the most interesting photo galleries in New Orleans is located right in the heart of Jackson Square. The work of Louis Sahuc is featured throughout the gallery, Louis has been a photographer since 1972, and here you can buy originals and prints of his work in all sizes. His lovely art varies from pictures of New Orleans during a hard rainstorm, to St. Louis Cathedral in the fog and the people of New Orleans. Louis is a good friend and is affectionately known as the Mayor of the French Quarter. We are pictured at a recent reception in his honor at Tujague’s restaurant on Decatur Street in the Quarter. Tujague’s is the second oldest restaurant in New Orleans, and a regular stop for me. Hats off to Louis.
