This week is the last for David Letterman on CBS. I’ve been a Letterman fan since his first shows on NBC Late Night, and favored Dave over Leno and all the rest. I hate to see him go off the air. But did you know that I participated in one of Dave’s early programs. Initially, his show was not aired here in my hometown of Baton Rouge. I led an effort to get the Letterman show back on , and you can watch the video below to see how successful I was. Dave comes on the air to thank me about one minute into the video below.
